African Youth Employment Initiatives - AYEI

AYEI is a Pan-African organisation, present in more than 15 countries in just 10 months. We plan to establish our presence in all African countries.

AYEI at Global Solutions Lab, Chestnut Hill, USA

With the vision to eliminate extreme poverty by the year 2030, the Global Solutions Lab comprising of UN experts (UNDP, UNEP, UNESCO, UNICEF, WHO and other UN agencies) with students and young professionals came together in other to develop comprehensive strategies on how to solve world most critical problems and then present the best projects at the United Nations for possible funding and technical support. African Youth Employment Initiatives 'Sustainable Agricultural' project was among the 100 projects that entered for the Global Lab project competition, 50 projects where invited to pitch, 30 projects made it to the second phase. After series of presentations, illustrations and project defense at Chestnut Hill College, Philadelphia from 18th to 26th June 2017. Successful projects proceeded to United Nation from 26th June to July 3rd 2017 for final presentations to investors and funders. We are excited to announce that AYEI project 'Sustainable Agriculture' made it as a First Runner Up and we are happy to be part of the movement that will drive sustainable growth and curb food insecurity in Africa and ultimately reduce poverty and youth unemployment through Agriculture.
